At the New York International Auto Show, Jaguar announced this all-new sports car will soon be going into production. The car will be a two-seater with a convertible top, making it the fourth Jaguar model in recent history to come out as a coupe/convertible.
The car features Jaguar’s aluminum vehicle construction and promises a rewarding driving experience. There will be a range of high performance engines available, including an entirely new powerplant family.
Prototypes of the car are currently being road-tested at Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich plant in the British Midlands–where the car will actually go into production.
The full specs and details will be announced later in 2012 and it will go on sale in mid-2013
