Serie G

I had an Oliva Serie G Robusto with Jack Daniels Original Blend Honey Whiskey and it is a great combo that brings out the taste of the whiskey and the cigar. Not one overpowers the other and your mouth will water long after you’re done with your cigar and whiskey. Like I have mentioned before, the fun part of cigar smoking is trying out different combos with different whiskeys…relaxing and having fun.
Serie O
The hard-hitting Serie O is a great cigar from Nicaraguan leaf and is made in the original Cuban tradition of growing the same Habano seed in diverse regions of the country to produce a distinct blend. This blend was created by growing Habano in Esteli, Condega and Jalapa Valley.
The blend has notes of dark tobacco with spice and rich cedar. The wrapper is Sun-Grown Habano while the binder and filler are Nicaraguan Habano. They come in petit Perfecto to Churchill’s and are great for the more experienced cigar aficionado.
The Serie O smells great and tastes even better–no wonder why the Serie O is a top 10 cigar. The Serie O compliments well with Buchanan’s Irish whiskey. During the 2012 Super Bowl I had a great time with my father-in-law, Buchanan’s Irish whiskey, and a Perfecto Serie O.
The Super Bowl was great for many different reasons: a great game, a great drink, and a great smoke. The combination between the Buchanan’s and Oliva Serie O was a match made in heaven. My father-in-law and I both gave it high marks for it’s taste and spice blend.
