This movie was absolutely amazing and entertaining. If you grew up a fan of the Marvel Universe, this is a fans dream come true.

The Avengers gave me more than what I expected. Watching this movie made it hard to blink because I didn’t want to miss a split second! The storyline was good–not the best–but what do you expect from a movie that was made to be action-packed? As soon as the movie began the action started. As a man, I really couldn’t care less about the storyline of an action flick. I just wanted epic fight scenes and awesome special effects and it gave it to me.

I grew up a fan of Marvel comics and to see Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Nick Fury all in one movie was a truly satisfying experience. It was a well-balanced movie that gave every character its fair amount of scene time and you never got too much of one character or not enough of another–except for the beautiful Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill–she needed way more screen time!

One great thing that I enjoyed about this movie was the comedy that was infused into it. Normally, the only Marvel movie that has a ton of comedy in it is the Iron Man series, but in this movie every character had its fair share of being a comedian–which made The Avengers that much better.

Mark Ruffalo is new to the Marvel movies and played the volatile Hulk and he actually did a good job. I would definitely go see a movie starring Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. He played the part very well and his action scenes were amazing. The Hulk probably had the funniest scenes in the movie too. Usually, every Marvel movie has Easter eggs in it or hidden secrets that reveal upcoming Marvel movies and word is there are none in this movie. After watching this movie it can be easily said that every character will continue to have a spin-off of their own. The ending and final fight scene was absolutely spectacular and was done to perfection. After you are done watching The Avengers do not be so quick to get up and leave the theater. As you know, every Marvel movie has an extra scene after the credits and this one is no different. Expect two more scenes after the movie–one during the credits and one completely after the credits. What you will see will absolutely get you excited for the next installment of The Avengers, Iron Man 3, and Thor 2! Cannot wait!
