Gangster Squad is a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD’s efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time. Set in 1949 Los Angeles, the film tells the story of Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen and his battles throughout the L.A. underground. Gangster Squad is set to hit theaters on October 19, 2012.
