The gangster lifestyle, minus the criminal activity, is essentially the West Coast lifestyle that many of us enjoy. Nice cars, beautiful women, good cigars, loud parties…the list goes on and on. One of the best rap groups that ever portrayed the West Coast life was Westside Connection. Formed in the aftermath of Tupac’s murder and at the pinnacle of the East Coast/West Coast rivalry, Westside Connection aimed to show the world who’s boss. “Gangster Nation” was their last single and serves as a reminder of how everyone wants to live the West Coast life and proves that, deep down, everyone is a gangster.
