
Nintendo has just unveiled the 3DS XL much to the delight of gamers around the world. The new system is a bigger version of their highly popular and successful 3DS handheld and will be available August 19th for $199.99. The new device features a 4.8-inch screen on top and a 4.1-inch screen on the bottom. What this amounts to is a 90% bigger DS than the original–although with the same resolution. The 3DS XL will also boast a longer battery life that is expected to last anywhere between 3.5 and 6.5 hours with a charge time of 3.5 hours.
