Shepard Fairey has been commissioned by the London Pleasure Gardens to create some artwork for the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The BBC put together this great profile on Shepard that features how his art was constructed on a decaying building and let him discuss a little bit about his creative campaign. The piece is a huge mural plastered on a building so tall that the use of cranes had to be implemented in order to complete the task.
