8/8/88 marked the beginning of Gangsta Rap as N.W.A. released their seminal classic, Straight Outta Compton. Now, 24 years later, their influence can still be felt and Compton still hasn’t fallen off the map as a new generation of rappers (The Game, Kendrick Lamar, etc.) are still representing their hood. To mark the anniversary of the album and to pay a little homage to the Gangsta Forefathers, NYC brand Mighty Healthy has released their “Compton Pack” featuring the iconic Old English font with a backwards twist.
